Factory Improvement Program
Factory Improvement Program was designed by International Labor Organization (ILO) & implemented in collaboration with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The focus of the program was to help factories increase competitiveness, improve working conditions, strengthen communications between managers and workers.
SRops' senior consultant as contracted full-time National Project Coordinator had engaged in the whole project cycle and program process from the very beginning until the end of the funded project. The tasks and responsibilities included but not limited to the followings: Develop program strategy, promotion strategy, promotional materials; find, contact, identify, screen and select potential enterprises to participate into the program; develop schedule for major activities at program level; develop factory profile for participating enterprises; carry out baseline survey in all participating enterprises; coordinate, participate, follow-up, supervise all activities foreseen regard to the implementation of the project includes training, reporting, in-factory sessions; tailor detailed plans for each participating enterprise including design indicators, update on indicator; conduct training sessions; facilitate improvements and enhance suppliers' efficiency; write final report on the program, throughout the implementation process & outcomes; report on progress & work-plan; provide consultations and advice to individual expert so that he/she could modify the training contents and make it more appropriate to the required context; provide assistance during the training in term of technical inputs, industry context; ensure the results of the various activities undertaken throughout the project widely disseminated; maintain expert's network, governmental departments and network with brands and international organizations; conduct regular contact with brands' representatives, importing companies' representatives, media, associations, service providers, and other relevant stakeholders; develop news articles, newsletters, meetings materials and etc.; coordinate and organize CEO launch, welcome meeting, program review meetings, program wrap-up meeting, improvements, achievements, lesson learnt sharing fair event; provide supports to participating suppliers to prepare its presentations accordingly during those important meetings and more.
