- Sustainable Compliance Initiative (SCI) Assessment Management and Hybrid-Team Lead in South East Asia and other countries.
In early 2012, Fair Labor Association (FLA) shifted to Sustainable Compliance Initiative (SCI) Auditing Methodology. The first SCI Auditing Methodology was launched in February and March 2012 at Apple's supplier Foxconn located in Guanlan, Longhua and Chengdu in China. SRops' senior consultant as independent consultant was contracted and assigned by FLA to attend the initial launch of SCI assessment at these suppliers in China to observe, witness and provide inputs to the integrity of the SCI assessment process conducted by external auditor teams.
And, since April 2012 upto April 2013, SRops' senior consultant as independent consultant was assigned to be in charge and manage all SCI assessments assigned to the South-East Asia region and other countries, the tasks include but not limited to the followings: conduct auditor onsite training, work with external auditor teams to roll out and deploy all SCI assessments assigned to the region in restricted specified time-frame, put the assessment teams together to perform assessments, hire staffs and external auditors, train the external auditor teams on new SCI auditing methodology, lead the hybrid-teams onsite, assist Vietnam Project FLA 3.0, provide inputs to improve the factory selection process for SCI assessment to ensure its transparency, provide inputs to existing SCI assessment process, systems and tools such as the questionnaires, attend the global pause and reflect meeting to report on 2012 SCI Assessments in Southeast-Asia, the report presentation includes overview on assessment allocation and transparency, implementation of assessment process, report review, payment to service providers, and other recommendations for process improvement.
