Stakeholder Engagement Programs
Fair Labor Association (FLA) initiated its FLA 3.0 program named as "Promoting Sustainable Labor Compliance in Vietnam's Garments and Footwear sector". FLA 3.0 was a participative process that combines the knowledge and resources of all stakeholders to define key issues and remedial responses, it helped strengthen firm-level capacity to implement national labor law and international labor standards and enhance national competitiveness by integrating labor compliance into policies and practices. The essential initial step of the several steps program was to engage with relevant stakeholders to define key issues, their responses, and existing programs operating in Vietnam.
SRops' senior consultant as CSR Advisor under Vectra International was contracted as Stakeholder Engagement Consultant and Coordinator whose tasks and responsibilities was to identify strategic stakeholders, to schedule, to organize and to coordinate series of individual stakeholder engagement sessions and meetings for FLA's CEO with high-ranked country's officers and key representatives from local NGOs, international NGOs, Universities, Confederation of Trade Union, Ministry of Labor Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affair (DOLISA), Union of Textile and Garments Industry and Trade, Textiles and Garments Association, Union of Footwear Industry and Trade, Leather and Footwear Association, National Assembly Vice Chairman of Social Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Technical Advisor of ILO Industrial Relations Project, Global Training Manager of Better Work Program, City Federation of Trade Unions, Brands, Suppliers, Monitors.
