Vendor Performance Improvement Program
N.F.C. Inc. is partnering with Verité on designing and implementing a Vendor Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for its vendor factories. This program is individual Capacity building consultation program and continuous improvement model to build the knowledge, understanding and skills of suppliers to affect sustainable positive change and to take “ownership” of its client’s CSR goals and strengthening factory performance.
SRops' senior consultant as independent consultant was contracted and hired as Lead Capacity Building Consultant in this program and the tasks include but not limited to the followings: lead the capacity building hybrid team, assist New Balance's vendors to meet code requirements through a guided change approach, assist vendors to build up internal capacity and management systems to manage compliance performance, diagnose compliance issues, the weakness in management systems, hold action plan workshop, provide guidance, assist suppliers developing systems, templates, resources and other materials, follow-up, coach, track progress, provide additional supports.
